The phrase “doff your hat” was common practice from the 16th century in England. The doffing of hats was governed by a code of etiquette, raising your hat in acknowledgement and a sign of respect to others.

I’ve worn a lot of hats in my life. Some were good. Some were bad. But this hat? This hat is the one. If hats had dating profiles, I would have swiped right on this one so fast I’d have broken my phone.
From the moment I put it on, it just got me. The fit? Perfection. The breathability? Like a fresh mountain breeze on my head. The style? I’ve worn it hiking, driving, napping, and possibly even to a wedding (sorry, Aunt Linda, but it looked great). Rain or shine, this hat has been my ride or die. If it ever disappears, I will file a missing hat report.
